Delhi Congress President Devender Yadav hit out at Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, alleging that his politics has now been "exposed," while adding that throughout his tenure, he only blamed others and ignored the development of Delhi.

Stating that Kejriwal's politics have now been "exposed", Yadav added that the people of Delhi have no expectations from him. He added that the Congress party will form the government in Haryana.

Speaking to ANI on Sunday, Delhi Congress President Devender Yadav said, "Kejriwal and his politics are now completely exposed. He has been in power for the last 12 years. He has only fought with everyone. He has only blamed the neighbouring states, LG or the central government for the work he could not do. He did not pay attention to the development of Delhi."

"All he (Kejriwal) has developed is himself, his family and the AAP because the corruption has been at its peak...Delhi people have no expectations from him. Congress will form an independent and strong government in Haryana," he added.

Haryana goes to the polls on October 5 to elect a 90-member state legislative assembly to form its next government, with the counting set to take place on October 8.

In 2019, the BJP emerged as the single-largest party with 40 seats. Congress won 30 seats.

Earlier, Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel said that the people of Haryana have decided to vote the BJP out of power, which has "misruled" the state for 10 years.

"There is a terrific electoral atmosphere in Haryana. The people of Haryana have decided to vote the BJP out of power, which has misruled the state for 10 years. The nation is aware of the farmers' protest which has been going on for a long time, the betrayal of the youth through the agniveer scheme and finally people have seen wrestlers' protest. People are deeply troubled by corruption, bureaucracy, and incapability of the government and they want a change," Baghel said. (ANI)
