Explore the enchanting beauty of Tripura." "The tourism department of the state government is making extensive preparation to properly observe the world tourism day through a number of programmes. A lot of programmes will be carried out on the appointed date to popularize the day and make people aware of its importance," he added. World Tourism Day is celebrated every year on September 27. The day marks the anniversary of the adoption of the Statutes of the Organization in 1970, paving the way for the establishment of UN Tourism later.
