Reacting to the Shajapur firing incident Madhya Pradesh BJP chief VD Sharma on Thursday said that anti-social elements would not be spared in the state.

Late Wednesday, a dispute happened between two groups in Maksi town in Shajapur district which resulted in stone pelting and firing, and left one person dead and seven injured.

Speaking about the incident, BJP chief Sharma told ANI, "There are several anti-social forces inside Madhya Pradesh and the way Congress is trying to provoke these forces, due to which, people are committing such incidents by misusing opportunities. An attempt was made to commit such an incident yesterday at Maksi in Shajapur district. There was mutual dispute, but the administration is alert."

The state government is taking action promptly. Therefore, the government and the local administration will give the strict reply to such an element which is anti-social and wants to spoil the environment in the state, Sharma said.
