Security forces arrested a top militant associate and three over-ground workers (OGWs) during a cordon and search operation in the Budgam district of J&K, on Wednesday.

The security forces, including the Rashtriya Rifles and the police, busted a module of the LeT during a cordon and search operation at the Budran village of the Magam area in the district.

The operation was launched on the basis of specific input. "We arrested a top militant associate identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Dar and three OGWs -- Mudasir Lone, Younis Waza and Nazir Sheikh," the police said.

A pistol, grenade and incriminating material were recovered from them, the police added.
