The BJP has cancelled it's parliamentary party meeting scheduled on Tuesday following the death of Rajya Sabha MP and Rajasthan party chief Madan Lal Saini, a party leader said.

The senior BJP leader requesting anonymity said the meeting was scheduled at 9.30 a.m.

This would have been the first meeting of all the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs after the Lok Sabha elections.

Saini, who was admitted at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi last week after a lung infection, died on Monday. He was 75.
