204The Indian Air Force's Mi-17 helicopters have airlifted more than 80 tonnes of material to the inaccessible Middle Subansiri Valley of Arunachal Pradesh, for construction of a bridge over Kume river.

While the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has undertaken construction of the bridge, IAF is assisting in the transportation of material, to expedite the process.
