Amara Raja Batteries Q2 net profit dips by 5.54 percent

Battery Major Amara Raja Batteries has posted a drop of 5.49 percent in its net profit for the quarter ended Sep 30, 2018 at Rs 120.23 crores for the as against Rs 127.22 crores for the period ended Sep 30, 2017.

However, Total income for the quarter under review grew by 22.75 percent to Rs 1,767.29 crores as compared to Rs 1,439.73 crores during the period ended Sep 30, 2017, company said in afiling with BSE.
