The visiting Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte on Tuesday said he held "fruitful talks" with his Indian counterpart and exuded confidence that both countries can work together to meet the complex challenges of the new century.
Addressing the valedictory session of India-Italy Technology Summit here in presence of an esteemed gathering including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the visiting dignitary said both the countries should take the advantage of challenges and turn these into opportunities.
He said both the countries are committed to democracy and can work together in areas like climate change, higher education and also for "inclusive growth".
He said there could be cooperation in biotechnology, aerospace and genetic engineering besides the issues like 'climate change'.
