Fake bus ticket racket busted in UP, 3 held

Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) has busted a fake bus ticket racket and arrested three people in this regard, official sources said here on Friday.

They were active in Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras and Sadabad route buses.

The two accused Ashok of Nagla Nechla village in Aligarh and Surjeet alias Sonu, resident of Asavar village were arrested from Aligarh with their accomplice Amit alias Bhola.

Sources said that Ashok was working as a bus conductor in Bihar depot, Aigarh on contract basis, while Amit was illegally working as conductor cum security officer. Adhar cards, mobile phones and some cash were recovered from arrested persons.

Inspector General, UPSRTC Amitabh Yash had informed the STF about the racket, led to the arrests. Further investigations are underway.
