Two people were arrested and fake rubber stamps and documents seized from them which they used to release dreaded criminals on bail. The two were identified as-- Datta Anant Tadse and Kisan Bhimrao Satpute,-- both residents of Sonvadhona village in Ner tehsil of Yavatmal district of Maharashtra. As many as 75 fake rubber stamps were seized from them used not only in courts but in several government offices and banks to avail benefit of schemes launched by Central and state governments, sources said.
According to sources on July 29, police had arrested two hardcrore criminals with deadly weapons such as revolvers and was against their bail but to their shock, both were granted bail by the court in August. The accused presented 7 x12 before the court for bail.
