20 liquor factories demolished in Jehanabad

Police demolished a total of 20 illicit liquor factories under Parasbigha police station area in Jehanabad district.

Police said here today that acting on a tip off, raids were conducted in Sendhua and Visunbigha villages under Parasbigha police station area were more than 20 illegal liquor factories were functional. All the illegal liquor factories were demolished by the police late last night under special drive, police added.

"Sleuths of excise department had also conducted raids at a hideout near Jhalasbigha under Town police station area leading to recovery of 200 litres and other stuff required for the manufacturing of country liquor", police said, adding that FIR had been lodged at concerned police station in this connection.
