Six-member gang held: Rs 42.87 lakh seized in Hyd

Cyberabad police have arrested a six-member House Breaking gang and recovereda net cash of Rs 42,87,780 and 200 grams of gold ornaments, hammer, cutting plier and screw driver from them.

On credible information, Cyberabad police arrested Mohd Muqthar alias Chotu (24), Baindla Yadaiah alias Yadagiri (23), Shaik Amjad (21), Shaik Jahangir (24), Mangali Venkatesh (21) and Mungimalla Mahesh (21), all hailing from Vikarabad district of Telangana, police said.

Accused Mohd Muqthar was working as a car driver at Sanjeeva Reddy of Upperpally on salary basis for Rs 18,000 a month. On watching the business transactions of his owner he became greedy and hatched a robbery plan at his owner's house because he noticed his owner is not using bank locker and simply keeping the money in the home only.

In April 1st week. Mohd Muqthar went to his village Doma and met his friends Baindla Yadagiri and Shaik Amjad, informed them about his plan. They agreed to co-operate and commit the offence.

They robbed the house on April 16 by entering into the house by removing window , when the owner was busy in the marriage function held at Nandayala. Later the gang shared the loot, police added.
