A domestic help committed double murder and tried to escape with cash and valuables in Hassanpur village falling under Naraingarh police station on Thursday, police said here. Servant Harish from Uttar Pradesh was employed by school teacher Vinod Kumar. Harish won the confidence of the family members who started relying on him. On Thursday Vinod went to school, his daughter Nidhi had gone to Ambala college and son to his work place. His mother Rajbala (75) and his wife Suman alone were in the house.

Harish with his evil intentions killed both the women with spade and escaped with valuables. Meanwhile, Nidhi made repeated mobile calls to her mother without any response. Then she contacted her father and told him that she was not getting the call response from home. Vinod then sent a teacher to his house from school who found both the women in a pool of blood. He informed Vinod who then told the police about the incident. A police team arrested Harish from Yamunanagar railway station where he was preparing to catch a train for his village.
