Cong disturbed over K'taka defeat:Anurag Thakur

BJP Lok Sabha MP from Hamirpur Anurag Thakur today alleged that in view of the Karnataka defeat where 70 per cent people rejected the Congress party and now Congress party was visualizing the same fate in 2019 Lok Sabha polls so was disturbed.

Talking to media persons here, the BJP MP said as Congress was disturbed so its leaders were raising hue and cry that democracy was murdered in Karnataka. He alleged that Congress party ruled the country for more than half a century but during this entire period there was nothing but corruption all over.

He said that it was BJP leaders Atal Behari Vajpayee and Narendra Modi who gave a transparent and visionary alternative to the people of the country. He said that under the leadership of Narendra Modi India attained a respectable position on the world map because of the developmental and strong economic measures country had witnessed during the last four years. He said that this was a matter of pride for the entire nation.

Anurag Thakur was on a day visit to Dehra constituency today which falls in Hamirpur Lok Sabha area which is represented by him. He visited the family members of Pankaj Rana, who was seriously injured during a militant attack in Kashmir valley recently and was under treatment at Army Hospital. Pankaj Rana belongs to Nowshera village of Dehra.
