2 passengers killed as UP govt bus fall from bridge in Etawah

Two passengers were killed and 10 others were critically injured when a Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation bus fell from a bridge on National Highway -2 in Jaswantnagar area on Thursday morning.

ADM Sidharth said here that the injured have been rushed to the district hospital.

He said the ill-fated bus was on its way to Kanpur from Agra when the driver lost control over his steering wheel and the vehicle fell from the bridge near Burehala village on the Agra-Kanpur highway.

One of the deceased has been identified as Suman Pandey(46), a native of Akbarpur in Kanpur Dehat district while the other youth-- around 28 years of age-- was still unidentified.
