5 IPS transferred in UP

The Uttar Pradesh government transferred five senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers on Thursday.

According to official sources here, Deepesh Juneja, who had returned from Central deputation, was made the ADG Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. ADG Human Rights Commission Tanuja Srivastava was posted as ADG Police Recruitment and Promotion Board.

Two ADGs of Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Vital Kumar and Jaki Ahmed were removed, while Vital Kumar was relieved for Central deputation. Jaki Ahmed will be the new ADG of ATC, Sitapur, while IG Rules and Mannual Amitabh Thakur was shifted to Civil Defence in the same capacity.

Meanwhile, the government also shifted three Additional Superintendent of Police(ASP) rank officers in the state.

ASP ATS Brajesh Srivastava was made the ASP (City) Allahabad, while Staff Officer of ADG ( Meerut Zone) Kumar Ranvijay Singh and ASP Meerut (city) Sri Prakash Dwivedi will also swap their posts.
