A Rajasthan district and sessions court on Tuesday allowed Bollywood actor Salman Khan, convicted in the blackbuck poaching case and out on bail, to travel abroad from May 25-July 10 for shooting a film.

The court, which heard the actor's plea, granted permission to Salman to visit Nepal, Canada and the US.

Salman Khan was released from Jodhpur jail on April 7 after being granted bail by a Sessions Court in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case in which he was sentenced to five years in prison.

A court in its April 7 judgement had ordered that Salman could not leave the country without taking its permission. UNI XC PS RP1459
