Jhansi based Baidyanath Aurveda has announced foray into cool Oil market with launch of its herbal 'Himsagar Tel ' brand.
The move is aimed to catch up with fast growing consumer shift towards natural, organic and Ayurvedic products as well as to cater to growing youth preferences, a company statement said. The cool hair oil market, which accounts for about 14 per cent of the total hair oil market is estimated to be worth Rs 6700 crore. Cool oil popular as 'Thanda tel' is is a growing sub-category in the hair oil category and there are many players in the market including Emami, Marico and Dabur.
According to Baidyanath Ayurved Executive Director Anurag Sharma the Baidyanath's Himsager Tel is a medicated oil which has a vast range of therapeutic uses. It contains mixture of more than 50 Ayurvedic herbs and sesame oil. It comes in 100 ML pack with MRP of Rs 67.
