SPG team inspects security arrangements for PM's visit on Feb 18

The SPG team on Wednesday took stock of the security measures for the two-day visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the city of Palaces on February 18. The team, led by SPG, AIGP Somayati Rao, was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner D Randeep, Mysore City Corporation officials and top police officials who visited Lalita Mahal helipad, J K grounds and Maharaja grounds.

Mr Modi is scheduled to arrive here on February 18 night and stay at Lalita Mahal hotel. After overnight halt he will hold a video conference at 1030 hrs the next day and visit Shravanabelagola to attend Mahamasthakabhisheka.

He will return to J K grounds at 1500 hrs and head to the Railway Station by a vehicle to inaugurate the Bengaluru-Mysuru Railway line that has been totally electrified. He will address a public meeting at Maharaja grounds and later leave to Bengaluru by a special flight at 1630 hrs.
