The word 'beyond bars' is very well used as I believe that behind bars is very sadistic." She also congratulated Debashis Chakraborty for taking the initiative. "The inmates are prisoners and they stay in confinement, but these kind of activities actually turn a prison into a correctional home. They not just stitch jute to make products, but they stitch their emotions with it," Chakravarty said.Lovely Adhikari, who is now back in mainstream after being released from the Women's Correctional Home, oversees the entire initiative at Dum Dum Central Correctional Home.'Jute Story Beyond Bars' inventory consists of file, folder, bags, cushion covers, rugs, specs covers, table mats and more.
