The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) burnt an effigy of Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in protest against Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) here on Saturday. Party workers led by district president Mukesh Singh held demonstration at Rahulabeer and demanded to cancel the FDI. AAP workers also warned central government that protest will be intensified if their demands will be overlooked. Mr Singh said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had opposed 49 percent FDI but after gaining power 100 percent FDI in some sectors have been approved which has caused troubles for traders, retailers and other small businessmen. He said that due to anti-public policies of the central government the condition of farmers, poor and youth has deteriorated in past three years. UNI XC-JDM CJ 2305
