Youth should face the challenges: Yogi

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath said that youth should face the challenges and should not give up in front of problems. Addressing the gathering here at Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, on National Youth Day, CM Yogi said that universities should not be only degrees distribution centers but they should contribute in development of the country. CM Yogi said that more than 4 lakh people got the benefit of Prime Minister skill development programme. Universities should promote skill development programmes to make youth economically strong. Taking about 'one district one product' scheme CM Yogi said that ODOP will promote regional products in bigger market. He said that farmers, weavers and others will get direct benefit of the scheme and with their development whole region will develop. UP CM said that 22 crore population can remain happy only when the farmers are happy. He said that every university should have soil test centers to promote better farming. He said that farmers should get their soil health card. CM Yogi said that state government will provide every possible help for the development of the university. He said that adequate funds will be provided for professional courses. Vice-chancellor of the university Professor Rajaram Yadav also addressed the gathering. UNI XC-JDM CJ 2229
