Top seed in Boys Singles Under 16, Ritabrata Sarkar lifts a double crown at the Calcutta South Club AITA Talent Series 2018, held at the synthetic courts of the prestigious Calcutta South Club Ltd here today Sarkar drubbed unseeded Wyatt O'Brien in the final of the Boys Singles Under 16 by a straight 7-5,6-0 to claim the title. Thereafter, he partnered Arka Banerjee to lift the Boys Doubles Under 16 crown by surpassing Medhansh Jain and Priyanshu Singh by a close 6-4,6-3. Second seed in Girls Singles Under 16, Koyena Sircar was down a set point in the opening set but displayed tremendous guts and patience to pull the set against the inexperienced Shimreen Ahamed by a close 7-5.
