Jharkhand Govt approves Rs 1192.91 cr for 14 power distribution projects in DVC command area

The Jharkhand Government today approved a sum of Rs 1,192.91 crore for building 14 power distribution projects in command area of the Damdar Valley Corporation in the state. A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the project building here. The cabinet also decided that candidates passing out from the Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University would be given prominence in appointment to the posts of assistant sub inspector and constables while SPOs would also get prominence in appointment in the posts of constable in the police. It was also decided that a post of computer operator on contractual basis would be formed for the chief secretary's office. It was also decided that under the 'Mukhyamantri Ladli Laxmi Yojana' the address mentioned on the Aadhaar cards would be acceptable as residential address for people living in the cities. The cabinet also decided that the logo of the ACB Jharkhand would be sent to the Union Home Minister for approval. The cabinet in another key decision also gave administrative approval for a sum of Rs 429.28 crore to build a 500 bed hospital in MGM Jamshedpur while a sum of Rs 1,475 crore has been approved to set up 500 bed hospital buildings each in new medical colleges at Dumka, Hazaribagh and Palamu medical colleges. It was also decided that a sum of Rs 206.54 crore would be spent to build the Raksha Shakti University in Khunti.UNI AK AKM
