Ultras of JJMP create blast in school building in Hazaribagh

Ultras belonging to the Jharkhand Janmukti Parishad carried out blast inside a school building located at Jordag under Keredari Police Station area of this district. Police sources said a group of ultras late last night reached the school and destroyed the school building through the bomb blast. Such was the intensity of the blast that all the doors and the windows of the school were destroyed. Police has also managed to recovered the pamphlets of the outfit from the spot in which it warned the NTPC company to pay appropriate compensation to the villagers for their land acquisition. More than one and a half decades ago the same school was also damaged in the blast by the Maoists. The new building was made in the year 2010-11 with an investment of Rs 12 lakh. Upon receiving the information, Hazaribagh SP Anup Birthare reached at the spot and inquired into the incident. Since the incident has taken place in late night, early in the morning a large number of students had gathered. The SP who interacted with the children asked them not be afraid of the Maoists.UNI XC-AK AKM
