Police lob tear gas shells to quell mob, six cops injured in stone-pelting

Police lobbed tear gas shells to quell a mob protesting against the murder of a property dealer when irate people started pelting stones on cops leaving at least six of them injured under Manuapul police station area in West Champaran district today. Police lobbed tear gas shells on the stone pelting mob, which also indulged in arson when their attempt to control the unruly people by baton charging them became unsuccessful. Police said six police personnel including officer-in-charge of Banuchhapar police outpost Yakoob Ansari were injured in the stone pelting.MORE UNI DH BM
