JD (U) demands resignation of Sharad Yadav from Rajya Sabha

JD (U) parliamentary party leader RCP Singh today demanded resignation of rebel party leader Sharad Yadav from Rajya Sabha after Election Commission (EC)`s rejection of his claim on the party symbol for lack of evidence.Mr Singh said that 'lies of Mr Yadav' stood exposed after the Election Commission had rejected his claim on the party symbol for lack of evidence. He said that Mr Yadav should resign from Rajya Sabha immediately in wake of this development. On the other hand, state JD (U) spokesperson and MLC Neeraj Kumar said that Election Commission had made Mr Yadav aware of 'reality' after rejecting his claim on the party symbol. He said that Mr Yadav should now fix the date for joining RJD and should also develop a habit of raising slogans in favour of RJD Chief Lalu Prasad`s sons Tejaswi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav.
