Police said here during interrogation Naresh Chakma admitted that he collected these live cartridges from Dimapur to sale it in Bangladesh. He purchased at Rs 5,000 per cartridge. However, police has been grilling him to get more details and a police team from North Tripura has been sent to coordinating the investigation in Badarpur. Detention of Chakma ahead of Independence Day triggered tension in Tripura when some terrorist organisation made boycott call of the celebration. The security forces put on highest alert while border security forces asked to extra vigilant over international movements.
