Global aircraft manufacturing giant Airbustoday showcased startups selected by it, as part of Airbus BizlabSeason 2 that brought innovative technology by nascant companiesincluding those from India.
The season 2 witnessed 5 out of 137 applications fron start-upsfrom nine countries -- Newee, Steale Techoligives, EFLIGHT, SYmboismand Qualitas Technologies and they showcased their wares here todayand started working with Airbus or associated with the aerospace sector.
Head of Airbus Bruno Gutierres, Airbus India President and MDPierre de Busset, Srinivasan Dwarakanath, President at Airbus Indiaand Siddarath Balachandran, the Bizlab leader, were in attendance.
The company said Bizlab event discussed launching a B2B start-upscommunity across various sectors over a panel discussion.
Commenting on the success of the second season, Mr Gutierres saidthe start-ups and their works was thrilling. ''It is re-assuring tosee potential and quality of entrepreneurs in the Indian Start-upecysystem. We are hoping to create more opportunities for start-upsto work in the aerospace and defence sectors''.
