The Malegaon City police seized 750 animalskins from a truck and arrested four people, including three fromTamil Nadu, in this connection early today. The skins were being sent to Tamil Nadu from Malegaon,police said. Acting on a tip off, a Malegaon City police team laid atrap near Shivaji statue in Malegaon city and stopped the truck in wee hours of today. During the search, the police team found 750 animal skinsand arrested 4 people in this connection. They also confiscatedthe truck worth Rs 15.50 lakh used for transportation. The accused were identified as S Ramesh E M Shekhar (36), RMohan Rajendran (30), Bhaktiyar Mukhtar M (27) (all three fromTamil Nadu) and Imran Khan Shahid Khan (24) from Malegaon.
