Parrikar to inaugurate 3rd International Day of Yoga on Jun 21 in Goa

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar will inaugurate third International Day of Yoga in Goa, which will be observed on June 21 across the world.According to a press release issued by the Department of Information & Publicity here today, Directorate of Health Services & Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs have decided to conduct a state-level function at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, Bambolim, near the city on June 21 at from 0730 hrs to 2130 hrs.The Government officials of all departments and students from different schools and a nursing college will be attending and performing Yoga as per the guidelines given by Ministry of AYUSH, Goverment of India. Directorate of Health Services has planned/ organised celebration of International Day of Yoga (IDY) at all over the Goa. Directorate of Health Services in association with Directorate of Sports & Youth will be celebrating International Day of Yoga (IDY) at Lusofonia Games Hall at Peddem, Mapusa, Multipurpose Hall at Fatorda Multipurpose Hall Sports Complex Borimol, Quepem.Besides, 25 primary health centres of Directorate of Health Services will also be celebrating International Day of Yoga in their respective areas.The Yoga instructors from Art of Living, Patanjali Yog Samiti, Samarpan Dhyan Yoga and other Yoga organisations will assist/help in performing yoga.UNI AKM SS HK SNU 2224
