All India Hindu Convention demands creation of UT in Kashmir

The sixth All India Hindu Convention passed a resolution, demanding the Union Government to create an independent Union Territory called 'Panun Kashmir' in Kashmir for Hindus. According to a statement issued here today, the convention, which started yesterday, also passed resolution that the Centre should enact a law to build a grand temple in Ayodhya, implement law that the state government should not acquire any Hindu temples in the country and the Centre should implement the anti-conversion law applicable to all states.The convention for establishing 'Hindu Nation' had commenced at Sree Ramnath Temple, Ramnathi, Ponda, around 30 km from here, in South Goa yesterday.UNI AKM SS RJ 2250
