Freyr Energy, a solar solutions provider has targetted a revenue of Rs 70 to 80 crore during 2017-18, company Co-Founder and Managing Director Saurabh Marda said.
Talking to newsmen after launching Freyr SunPro Application which would help individuals and companies to run their rooftop solar business here today, Mr Saurabh said that the company revenue stood at 12 crore during 2016-17. The company's book order already reached to Rs 50-60 crore in this fiscal and expected the company's revenue touches to Rs 70-80 crore during 2017-18, he said. He said that the Hyderabad-based company Freyr Energy offering products range from Rooftop Systems, Petrol Pumps, Solar Water Pumps to Microgrids in India and Ghana. In the last three years, the company had installed over 770 solar systems across 12 states, impacting 40,000 lives in rural India and Ghana, he said. The Indian solar market size was one GW now and was expecting to reach 40 GW by 2022, Mr Saurabh said. While explaining SunPro Application, Mr Saurabh said that the App would help individuals and companies to run their rooftop solar businesses. The App could be used on both IOS and Android devices, uses complex algorithms and data analytics to streamline the entire process of getting a customer's solar requirements fulfilled. " With SunPro, the user does not need a solar or electrical background anymore to start their business. The training time to use the SunPro is less than one hour. The App's all-encompassing platform is equivalent to a five-person team (Engineer, Pricing Specialist, Customer Management, Supply Chain and Project Management) supporting 247, 365 days to help close orders. IT works both offline and online, has an error free system design that also gives a detailed techno-commercial report and pricing recommendations", he said.
