Snowfall in Kashmir Valley, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand has resulted in winds impacting on Madhya Pradesh where numerous places are experiencing a cold wave for the past couple of days.
The state capital yesterday experienced chilliest night as the mercury dipped to 8 degree Celsius. The citadel town Gwalior recorded the state's lowest temperature of 3.5 degrees C today.
"Conditions are likely to remain unaltered for the next two to three days. In the next 24 hours, the cold wave will affect Chambal, Gwalior, Ujjain, Sagar divisions; Rewa, Shahdol and Betul districts.
Isolated frost may be experienced in Gwalior, Chhatarpur, Ujjain, Rewa and Betul districts," India Meteorological Department' official said.UNI SN-AC SHS SHK 2156
