Konkani film 'Nachom-ia-Kumpasar' has been invited from India to be screened at Vienna Independent Film Festival (VIFF).

Speaking to UNI, Bardroy Barretto, director of the national award-winning film, said, ''Nachom-is Kumpasar is a musical film. It is to be screened in Austria, the country of famous composers and the place where musical sound of music is set, makes it all the more important.''

Expressing his happiness over invitation, producer Angelo Braganza said, ''I am delighted on the invitation, a Konkani film to boot from India. Only film from India.''

Nachom-ia-Kumpasar (Let's dance to the rhythm) is the only film from India which is invited to be screened at the four-day film festival. The film has won Best Music Award at United International Film Festival (UIFF) Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA.
