Indo-UK Institute of Health, London, ManagingDirector and Group CEO Ajay Rajan Gupta said that the NationalHealth Services (NHS), UK, will be setting up 11 Hospitals in India,including one in Bengaluru.
An MoU to this effect was signed by NHS with the Karnatakagovernment during 'Invest Karnataka Meet' which concluded hererecently.
The Hospital will have Medical college, Nursing Training Centrewith Nightingale of England and Training Centers for medicalpractioners and technicians, according to a release here today.
The MoU also provide for research partnerships and 5,000 Doctorsfrom India will be selected for training in the UK.Indo-UK Institute of Health has requested 50 acres of land in andaround Bengaluru. The decision on location will be taken soon by theKarnataka Government and a nodal officer will be provided.UNI MSP VV AK1915
