Telangana Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj KT Rama Rao today said as part of the Digital India programme, the state government also committed to implement Digital Telangana.
Addressing after inauguration of Motivity Labs Innovation Centre for Digital India and Smart Cities here, Mr KTR said,''we are also glad that Motivity Labs have selected Hyderabad to open their new Innovation Center that will create more high tech jobs and smart city technology eco-system in Telangana.''
Motivity Labs is an innovative solution provider focussed on mobile, cloud and big data technologies with a global presence in India and the US, backed by Naya Ventures.
''Motivity Labs local presence will enable us to leverage their expertise in Digital technologies and Smart Cities implementationin Telangana, the Minister added.
Speaking on the occasion, Dayakar Puskoor, General Partner of Naya Ventures said, ''Motivity Labs is planning to collaborate with Government of India and various state governments to be part of the prestigious projects of Digital India and Smart Cities.''
''Vibrant Hyderabad is the best destination due to favorable infrastructure, great availability of talent and a very supportive political leadership,'' he said adding that they are starting the Innovation Center with about 33000 sq feet of space and plan on expanding to accommodate about 1000 people over the next three years.
Innovation Center for Digital India and Smart Cities team with its expertise of having built digital solutions and implemented global smart cities will focus on creating customized solutions for India.
