Terming the suicide committed by a farmer from Rajasthan at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)'s rally against Land Bill here, as 'unfortunate', Delhi BJP today demanded that the AAP Government should give a compensation of Rs five crore to the family of the deceased ryot. Delhi BJP President Satish Upadhyay said the unfortunate incident of suicide committed by a farmer identified as Gajendra Singh from Rajasthan's Dausa in the presence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and entire leadership of AAP is a reflection of Kejriwal Partys inhuman insensitive approach towards the cause of farmers. Mr Upadhyay has demanded that the AAP Government should give compensation of Rs 5 crore to the family of deceased farmer. Tomorrow, the Delhi BJP will stage a demonstration at 1000 hrs at the Delhi CM's Office demanding probe into the incident. Union Health Minister JP Nadda alongwith Mr Upadhyay andMP Ramesh Bidhuri visited Sucheta Kriplani Hospital mortuary where the post-mortem of deceased farmer was being conducted. Talking to mediapersons, Mr Nadda said the Government will conduct a proper probe into this incident. Mr Upadhyay said, ''We have always said that Kejriwal and hisparty are masters at the art of exploiting human sentiments and this death happened in the presence of the Chief Minister who made no effort to prevent this unfortunate incident. ''On one hand the Chief Minister failed his basic dutyof asking his hundreds of his party men present to make an effort to climb the tree and save the farmer and on the other hand he kept on giving his speech citing the example of the farmer trying to hang himself,'' the Delhi BJP Chief said. Mr Upadhyay said the role of AAP leadership present on the stage too must be probed as to why they did not stop the rally after the farmers death.UNI NY RJ 2041
