MNNIT cultural fiesta Culrav starts

Culrav, the four-day cultural fiestaof MNNIT, Allahabad began today with great fervour. The festival was inaugurated in institute seminar hallby the lighting of lamp by Justice Giridhar Malviya who wasinvited as the chief guest for the ceremony and theDirector, Prof. P. Chakrabarti. Encouraging the efforts of the students, the ChiefGuest Justice Giridhar Malviya stressed on the fact that intoday's world besides technical education, the involvementin cultural activities is what actually keeps us rooted toour cultural values which in all, is the jist of all humancivilisation.

Apart from the aforementioned fact, he said this is how we can preserve our rich cultural heritage in modern society.

Further, the Director of the institute Prof. P.Chakrabarti appreciated the students' efforts for organisingthe event in a less amount of time. He praised the hard work and the zeal of the students. He said that this opportunity would be instrumental in their growth and learning. The inauguration ceremony was marked by the release ofMNNIT alumnus, Sapan Saxena's thriller fiction 'Finders,Keepers'.
