Pilot, co-pilot killed in J-K Army helicopter crash

A pilot and the co-pilot were killed in an army helicopter crashed in a forest area of Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district last evening.

As per reports, the helicopter lost contact after some time of taking off from a local helipad on a routine sortie. It was flying over Safapora heights, and it crashed near Saderkote area.

The rescue teams were rushed to the area immediately and bodies of both the pilots were recovered.

The Army Authorities are expected to order a formal inquiry soon into the matter. (ANI)
