Former Union Minister G Venkat Swamy passes Away

Former Union Minister and Senior Congress leader Gaddam Venkat Swamy popularly known as ' Kaka' passes away due to prolonged illness at a corporate hospital in the city this evening.

He was 85 and is survived by his two sons -- Mr Gaddam vinod, former MLA and Gaddam Vivekananda MP from Peddapalli constituency.

However, the former Congress working Committee member Venkataswamy's wife Kalavathi died in 2006.

He was elected seven times to Parliament from Peddapalli constituency and two times to Legislative Assembly.

Venkat Swamy had a wish of becoming India's president, which was constantly ignored by Congress. MORE UNI KNR BDP AS2220 NNNN
