City-based Smartur 3D wins best Smart class solution award

Smartur 3D, a next generation digital classroom solution by Hyderabad-based start-up Smartur.com, has been awarded the Best Smart Class Product by the World Education Summit (WES) for providing an advanced solution to educational institutes.

The digital solution of Smartur.com has been built on Augmented Reality (AR) and Stereoscopic 3D technology platforms.

The solution from smartur.com is a new benchmark in education solutions aimed at making learning interesting, retentive and fun, the company said in a release here today. 'Augmented Reality has generated a lot of buzz because of its use in Google Glass. Smartur.com has found a strong use case for this technology in the education sphere as it aids experiential learning. This award is a validation of our R&D efforts and will spur us as we get ready to take our solution to the Indian market,' said Mr. Neeraj Jewalkar, Founder and CEO, smartur.com.

More than 500 schools in the US have started using Smartur 3D and it has also been deployed in over 20 countries including UK, Italy, South Africa and Uganda and across 15 schools in Hyderabad.

The award presented recently during WES at New Delhi is a major recognition for the start-up as it gets ready to rollout Smartur 3D, the release said.

Smartur 3D (for science subject for classes 6 to 10) was conceived as a School product that will address the growing gap between schools that have the financial resources to afford existing digital classroom solutions and those that cannot, the release added. UNI KNR SB NS2306 NNNN
