After the call given by the BJP's PM-in-waiting Narendra Modi to make the city clean, BJP activists today made shramdaan by cleaning some areas and residential colonies.

Activists of the BJP in scores made shramdaan in some areas such as Shastri Nagar, Kamala Nagar and Annapurna Nagar. They also made shramdaan in residential colonies where the teachers and employees of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKV) live.

It may be noted here that while addressing the gathering at Dashaswamedh Ghat after attending Ganga Aarti Narendra Modi had yesterday exhorted the party workers and appealed to the people to make the city clean for making it Rastra Guru. In the response of the appeal of their leader the activists of the BJP reached the areas and colonies and made shramdaan by cleaning them.

The activists pledged to clean the streets and ghats of city too by continuing the cleaning campaign of the city Modi wants. They pledged to not allow anyone to make the city dirty. They also pledged of making the Ganga clean. UNI MB JS VN1943 NNNN
