Invest Bhubaneswar to kick start on Dec 20

The 4th Odisha symposium of invest Bhubaneswar aimed at promoting entrepreneurship in the state and branding Odisha as a stable and dependable investment destination will kick start here from December 20 next.

The event was organised at Palo Alto in 2010, Dallas in 2011, Chicago in 2013 and Singapore in 2012.

Organising Committee Member Ayaskanta Mohanty told newspersons here that the main focus of the three-day long symposium are-- Agro & Food Processing and Electronic Semiconductor Design & Manufacturing (ESDM).

Since the electronic market is not that advanced in the country, this platform aims at taking advantage in ESDM sector and brand Odisha as pioneer the country.

Mr Sahadev Sahu another Organising member said the initiative would help in saving the huge money spent for import of electronic goods from other countries.

Mr Mohanty said this year the tagline of the event was 'Connecting Odisha' as the symposium targetted every district of the state.

The sympsium will have two technical sessions related to Agriculture and Electronic Semiconductor Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) followed by a cultural programme on the second day.

The third day consists of plenary sessions based on Incubation, Startups, and Innovation, which aims to target students from various colleges. UNI BD AKM RST NNNN
