QNET Sponsors Indian Davis Cup Team

Direct seller QNET India is the sponsorer of the Indian Davis Cup Team in the Asia Oceania Group I Davis Cup relegation play-off scheduled at KSLTA stadium from April 5 to 7 here.

Davis Cup tie returns to Bangalore after 28 years and India will play Indonesia with both sides in a ' must win' situation to avoid the final round of relegation.

Suresh Thimiri,MD and CEO Transview Enterprise,franchisee of QNET in India said that 'I believe Indian Sports to be on a positive state of transition and factors like higher expendable income,changing lifestyle and opening of traditional markets, all have a role to play. Sponsoring sports and sportsmen is our way of contributing and catalysing this change.'

KSLTA Vice president and Vice Chairman of the Organising Committee M Laxminarayana,who is also the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister of Karnataka said 'We appreciate QNET's support for the Indian Davis Cup Team for this round of play-off. A symbiotic partnership between the corporate,government and sports fraternity is the only way forward to build sports in India.'

QNET has traditionally endeavored to support promising talented sports people across the world, and also here in India. Chetan Korada,the only Formula 4 race car driver in India with two prosthetic legs has been a QNET sponsored driver in the past.

Internationally, QNET sponsors Muttiah Muralidaran, the Sri Lankan veteran cricketer and Thongchai Jaidee,Top 50 World / Top 3 Asian professional golfer as Product Ambassadors.
