A-VIEW launch in Eastern states

With a mission to promote e-learning and disseminate quality education, Amrita E-Learning Research Lab will launch its indigenously developed e-learning software A-VIEW (Amrita Virtual Interactive E-Learning World) for Universities and Colleges in the Eastern region. The launches will be held at Kolkata on January 18 and Bhubaneswar on January 21, as part of Mata Amritanandamayi's Bharata Yatra 2013, a press release said here. As a world renowned humanitarian leader and chancellor of Amrita University, Mata is guiding several research projects for benefiting society. The West Bengal Commerce and Industry Minister Partha Chatterjee, Indian Institute of Management Calcutta Director Shekhar Chaudhuri, Jadavpur University Vice-Chancellor Prof Souvik Bhattacharyya and Prof C S Kumar, Mechanical Engineering Department, IIT Kharagpur are expected to attend the function at Kolkata.

Mr N K Sinha, Additional Secretary, MHRD, will address the participants online via A-VIEW from New Delhi. UNI DS AKM ADB1807 NNNN
