CM condoles Vedantam Satyanarayana Sarma's demise

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N KiranKumar Reddy today expressed shock and grief over the demise of Padmasree Vedantam Satyanarayana Sarma who passed away at a private hospital in vijayawada last night. In a condolence message here he said Pandit Vedantam Satynarayana Sarma was a Kuchipudi dancer acclaimed all over the world. He said Mr Sarma had indeed become the most famous male exponent of of the female roles in the Kuchipudi tradition. At the age of 9, he started learning dance and blessed by none other than the mastermind of Kuchipudi Nrityam, Sidhhendra Yogi.

The Chief Minister recalled Dr. Vedantam Satyam's immense grace and acting talent in his famous role as Satyabhama. The Chief Minister said in the demise of Vedantam Satyanarayana Sarma, the Kuchipudi dance form loses its gem.
