7 Bangladesh nationals arrested

Police have arrested seven Bangladesh nationals, who had infilterated into the country, and indulged in robbery.
City Police Commissioner Shankar Bidri told newspersons here that 500 gm of stolen gold ornaments worth over Rs nine lakh was seized from their possession.
Mr Badri said on June 30, they struck at a house in Varthur Police Station limits threatening the inmates, including a woman Aruna and her relatives with lethal weapons, and made away with the ornaments worn by them. They also took away their mobile phones and made a good escape by exploding a country bomb.
The arrested were identified as Mahamad Alamin, Mahamad Bilayat Hussain, Sydylla, Kabir, Mahamad Hassan, Mohamad Altaf and Mohamad Jakhir Malik.
Replying to a question, the commissioner said the arrested, who had infiltrated into the country, were working as construction labourers.
