Disney channel launches summer offering ''Kya Mast Hai Life''

Disney Entertainment Channel has announced the launch of its latest summer offering ''Kya Mast Hai Life'' for its ''tweens'' (pre-teenage audience) with a fresh-faced cast.

The serial, produced by SOL production house, revolves around the lives of Vir, played by Shaheer Sheikh, Ragini, played by Nazneen, Ritu, played by Sana Sheikh, Zenia played by Shweta Tripathi and Zeeshan played by Ashish Juneja. Television actress Maninee De will play Ragini's mother Sushmita Juneja. Speaking to mediapersons at the launch here last night, Walt Disney Television International (India) Senior Vice President and Managing Director Antoine Villeneuve said, ''Tweens today are wise and wired, yet vulnerable, going through the highs and lows of life with fun, friendship and a lot of maturity. The series follows the channel's philosophy of reflecting them, their families and their universe in an entertaining, safe and family inclusive environment.'' Disney will telecast the comedy themed series from Monday to Friday, beginning April 27 at 1900 hours.
