Sitikanth Mishra appointed ITC Chairman

Gwalior-based Indian Institute of Tourism & Travel Management (IITM) Director Sitikanth Mishra has been appointed as Indian Tourist Congress Chairman, official sources said today. Mr Mishra was appointed Chairman during the sixth meeting of the ITC. Tourism Training Institute (Himachal) Director S P Bansal was appointed ITC General Secretary. Professor Kapil Kumar (New Delhi) and Prof Manjula Choudhary (Kurukshetra) will be the members of advisory board. Prof Sandeep Kulshreshtha (Gwalior) and Prof Deepak Raj Gupta (Jammu) have been appointed to the post of Joint Chairman, while Prof Arpana Raj (Jhansi), Lavkush Mishra (Agra) and Dr Dilip M R (Agra) have been appointed as Joint Secretary.

Office bearers for four zones of the ITC will be appointed. Dr Manoj Dikshit (Lucknow) and Dr Chandramohan (Shimla) have been appointed Chairman for Northern region respectively. Dr Jabi Thomas (Bangalore) and Dr Bindu (Coimbatore) have been appointed Chairman for Southern region respectively.

Dr V V Parinda (Bhubaneshwar) and Dr M Shafiq (Vardhman) have been appointed Chairman for Eastern region respectively. Prof Dulari Qureshi (Aurangbad) and Sutishana Babu (Goa) have been appointed Chairman for Western region respectively.
